Introduction to Advertising Course
The Introduction to Advertising Course is launched in 2001 that focused members' training resources on newcomers to the industry and junior staff members.

The objective of the course is to raise the standards of professionalism within the advertising industry. This will be achieved by giving every newcomer a broad perspective of how the different disciplines within advertising work, and how they should integrate to provide a professional service to clients.

The intention is that every newcomer to the advertising industry, from every Hong Kong 4As agency and across every discipline should attend the course. It should be recognized as an entry-level requirement for the advertising industry professionals.

The course consists of six modules to be held in six weeks. A tutor from respective agency for each participant is to provide support and guidance to the participants in the completion of preparatory work and assignments.

Participants are required full attendance and completion of a final project within the timeframe. A certificate will be presented to the participant to acknowledge the standard that the participant has achieved.
