Ms. Rachel Chau
Director
Saturday

After graduating from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Rachel spent the next 19 years in 7 multi-national advertising agencies. She rose through the rank from Assistant Art Director to Executive Creative Director.

Over the years, Rachel has won over 300 awards from local to international award shows, including Hong Kong Kam Fan Awards, Long Xi Advertising Awards, Asia Awards, Asia Pacific Advertising Festival Awards, London International Advertising Awards, New York Festival, Clio , Cannes, One Show.

With her reputation in advertising growing, Rachel left the position of Executive Creative Director from JWT to become a Commercial Director in 2008. Her passion and belief remains the same. She keeps igniting consumer sympathy through her work.

Her work includes spots for Citibank, HSBC, Cigna Insurance, Pizza Hut, Lion & Globe, First Choice, Levis, Bausch & Lomb, Medicins Sans Frontieres, Breathe Right Nasal Strip, Essentiale Liver Supplement etc.


Mr. Wade Garland
CEO
TNS IRC, Hong Kong & Taiwan

Currently CEO of TNS Hong Kong, Taiwan & IRC Unit, Wade brings almost 20 years of experience in marketing research and its application to strategic planning and business issues.

Over this time, Wade has worked on research based solutions to marketing and business challenges for a host of clients in industries such as FMCG, consumer durables, finance & technology.

He brings extensive experience and understanding of business in Asia, having lived and worked in Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, and most recently in Hong Kong.

His current role includes management of the TNS International Research Centre (IRC), based in Hong Kong, with responsibility for the conduct of a wide range of specialist, large scale, regional and global research programs.

In this capacity, Wade is committed to making TNS a leading provider of value added information and insight to clients across the globe.


Mr. Paul Hui
Creative Veteran

Paul started his career in advertising as a copywriter in Toronto after graduating from the University of Waterloo. He then moved back to Hong Kong in 1994, and since then, working for many leading 4As agencies including Leo Burnett, JWT, and Lowe. Before he joined Ogilvy, he was the Creative Director and Head of Chinese Copy at M&C Saatchi.

Paul joined the Ogilvy family in 2005 as an Executive Creative Director of David, working across a variety of brands, namely Bank of China, DBS, HSBC, Swire Property, Sino Property, USI, Disneyland Hong Kong, Crown Macau, Motorola, Pizza Hut, KFC…

In early 2010, Paul set up Whizk Innovation, determined to bring his 17 years of creative experience to the culinary industry. He now spends most of his time in his private kitchen, namely “Fa Zu Jie” trying to bring innovations to the Shanghai cuisine.

Paul won numerous awards in his advertising career including a bag of Effie awards.

Ms. Sylvia Lee
Head of Marketing Services

Trailblazing is never easy. In 2009, Sylvia was tasked to set up the new marketing services venture at the SCMP, offering integrated solutions to advertisers and dramatically evolving the relationship between media owners and their clients. Sylvia’s success in this endeavor is due in large part to her extensive advertising industry experience heading up agencies in Hong Kong including M&C Saatchi, Leo Burnett, and BBDO. The other factor would be her enduring zest, which has only grown over the years.

Sylvia is also known for her unrelenting passion for groundbreaking work. She has worked on numerous acclaimed campaigns that pushed the envelope in advertising, including top EFFIE award winners.


Ms. Connie Lo-Schallenberger
Marketing Manager, Asia Pacific
Financial Times

Connie is a marketing manager at the Financial Times. In her role she oversees marketing campaigns that focus on driving subscriptions and revenue in the Asia Pacific region, with an aim to grow the FT’s quality readership and audience.

Prior to this, she spent over eight years at The Economist Group, starting with a regional events role at CFO Asia. The launch of another title, CFO China, saw a growth in CFO’s conference business and Connie spent three years there before moving to The Economist. Her role in marketing helped contribute towards the growth of its circulation and brand within the region.

Connie moved to Hong Kong from Scotland just before the Handover in early 1997. Her first job in HK was within the marketing department of Coopers and Lybrand, during which time she was mainly overseeing events whilst also involved in the regional branding communications of the new identity after the merger with Price Waterhouse.

In her spare time, Connie enjoys relaxing with her young family.


Ms. Rose Yeung
Head of Sales and Marketing
7-Eleven Hong Kong & Macau

7- Eleven is the largest retail network convenience stores with over 1000 outlets in Hong Kong and Macau which serves over 1 million customers daily. As Head of Sales & Marketing of 7-Eleven Hong Kong and Macau, Rose is responsible for the strategic marketing functions including formulation of business strategies and enhancement of brand awareness through diverse marketing channels.

Rose joined 7-Eleven in 2006 as Marketing Communication Manager and she has shown her outstanding leadership skill, marketing expertise and creativity. With her leadership, 7-Eleven has won various awards, including 2010 Effie Awards, Yahoo! Emotive Brand Award and Octopus Premier Award. It has also being ranked No.1 as Hong Kong Consumers’ Favorite Brand survey done by Super Brand and Nielsen.

Before starting her career in 7-Eleven, Rose has been working in renowned groups including Hutchison and Li & Fung, from where she has gained solid experience in retail marketing.

Rose received her degree from Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Applied Linguistic. Furthermore, she got her Master of Business in The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
